On October 26st 2010 Indonesian volcano Mount Merapi began erupting. Since that day it has erupted three times and has thrown millions of tonnes of ash and debris high into the sky. More than 100 people have been killed as a result of the eruption and many more have been injured. 70.000 People in the near viscinity of Mount Merapi have been evacuated as it is expected that Mount Merapi has yet to show the world what immense force lies beneath it’s surface.
